4. Write the changes to the modem
a. ClicktheWritebuttononthetoolbarofAceManager.
b. Waitforthemessage“WriteSuccessful”toappearin
thestatusbar.

Tip: Some configuration settings will require you to reset the modem
before they will take effect. You can reset the modem by using the
Reset button in AceManager or by using the reset button on the
modem. You can also reset the modem by cycling the power.
Using Templates
Ifyouhaveamodemconfigurationthatworkswellforyour
needs,usingAceManager,youcansavethatmodem’sconfigu

rationasatemplateandthenapplyittootherSierraWireless
AirLinkmodems.
1. Creating the Template with
AceManager
a. Configurethe“master”modem.
b. ClicktheCopybuttononthetoolbartotransferallthe
configuredsettingstotheNewValuecolumn.
